Hi, I’m Chris — an English tutor with over 30 years of teaching experience across Japan and Australia. I offer personalised, 1 on 1 lessons for people who want to improve their English for study, work, or everyday life.

What I teach

  • IELTS Academic - $75/hr

    Prep sessions focused on the real IELTS test — listening, speaking, reading, writing. Strategy, feedback, and plenty of practice.

  • IELTS General Training - $75/hr

    For PR, partner visas, and work — we’ll focus on the language and skills you need to meet your goals.

  • Academic Writing - $80/hr

    Help with essays, reports, or uni assignments. We’ll work on structure, clarity, and getting your ideas across.
